Biography:
Tony has been shooting professionally for twenty eight years and is a photo arts graduate (BAPA) from Ryerson Polytechnical University. He is a member of The Professional Photographers of British Columbia (PPABC) and The Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). He currently teaches iPhoneography, at Camosun College Continuing Ed and Photo-Based Mixed Media and Collage at University of Victoria Continuing Ed and is one of the Guest faculty at The Vancouver School Of Art where he teaches “Mixed Media Printmaking”. Tony has also taught workshops at The Coast Collective, The Denman Island Arts Centre, The Old School House in Qualicum Beach, MISSA and Red Deer College in Alberta.
Over the last 10 years, Tony has worked in several different mediums, including digital artwork, collage, iPhoneography, alternative based photography, mixed media and encaustics.
He is the Winner of Vancouver Islands “Photographer Of The Year” highest aggregate score at PPABC’s regional print salon and Winner of “Best Un Classified” and “Most Creative Image In The Show” at PPABC’s Provincial print salon and a National Class Award for “Electronic Composition” in the Commercial Industrial category.
He exhibits and sells his own Digital Fine Art prints and mixed media work throughout North America. Tony is also one of the founding members of “The Imagists” (a Victoria based Arts collective). Tony is also currently the President of the board of MISSA (Metchosin Summer School Of The Arts).
